In 2009 Solarstone released ‘Electronic Architecture’. Designed as a kick-back against the throwaway nature of today’s mix CD, it was nominated for Best Compilation Album at the WMC 2010’s International Dance Music Awards, running against releases by artists including Deadmau5, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren. It won press plaudits (and fan acclaim) for its imaginative concept, with Tilllate Magazine hailing it as “a magical blend of music, art and design” and DJ Mag calling it “a genuine gem”.

Now, after another prodigious, exhaustive 9-month A&Ring excursion, seeking out music from newest, most talented electronic dance producers out there (and from far-flung corners of the globe including China, Kenya, Japan and Australia), this April Solarstone will return…

Not a follow-up. Not a ‘Pt.II’. But an extraordinary evolutionary next stage in Electronic Architecture's story.

Prepare to have you mind expanded once again.

Very much looking forward to this one, I absolutely loved pt 1!

But for the CD version can we PLEASE have a normal jewel case instead of that crappy recycled milk carton? That seriously degraded the whole quality impression of the product...

I quite like the case of Vol 1.

Except it doesn't fit in my CD rack, which just means it has to live in a special place on my shelf. It's all part of the experience!

Have listened the preview so many times now, EA2 sounds very nice IMO!
