This week's show: Lots of new names in this week's show, particluarly in the progressive selection, I've not heard of most of these artists before which just goes to show how much new young talent there is out there in the edm scene. Fans of deep house will love Fabio Macor's forthcoming 'L-Lysine' on Molecule which gets a spin, as does my big tune for this week, the fabulous Egyptian-tinged 'Nail the Nile' from Future Disciple on Songbird, such a fabulous driving trance record. I did have to pitch it up from a sedate 128bpm though to make it truly rock. Chill moment in this week's episode is the gorgeous original version of 'Never Let Go', the noew one on Touchstone from Motif ft. Hannah Magenta, I know it's a pop record, but it's a great one. Watch out in the next week's show for a world exclusive clip of something from my forthcoming new album 'Pure'. Last but not least, huge thanks from myself, Ben, Bruce & Sascha to everyone who came out and supported us at the debut Federation live gig at the o2 in Bournemouth last Friday, it was an amazing gig and properly went off!! Over & out. Rich Ss.

His third studio album, 'Pure' heralds the frontline return for DJ, producer, singer and songwriter, Solarstone (aka Richard Mowatt). A 13-track collection of new music, it features musical co-productions with artists like Aly & Fila and Giuseppe Ottaviani and vocal team-ups with singers including Betsie Larkin, Clare Stagg, Billy McGruddy and Hannah Magenta. With the trance genre dividing and sub-dividing, rather than follow the fragmentation pack, in 2010 Solarstone diverted to record his concept album 'Touchstone'. Now, two years on, he's back with a new long-player and a new manifesto. Full info here. Pre-order signed CD. or iTunes preorder.

My picks this week:

Blister 13.0 - El Lobo -> Old school mentality! I love this track - reminds me a bunch of the creativity I heard in the mid-2000's when dance music went darker. WOW!

Fabio Macor - L-Lysine -> Gotta love the Ex-Swarm submission in Fabio. He's got such a cool sound! This one was definitely my favorite off the EP!

James Dymond - Paladin (Original Mix) -> Great track. It's not a big stand out tune, but it rocks in all the right ways for me. I love the Gregorian choir vocals in it too.
